Interruption to Swartkops Electricity Supply

28 February 2014 By NMB Communications

Residents are kindly requested to note that the electricity supply to Swartkops and surrounding areas will be interrupted between 07:00 and 17:00 this Sunday (2 March) for routine maintenance and the upgrade of existing infrastructure at Swartkops Substation.

Areas bounded by Swartkops Village, Deal Party, Metcalf, Dunkeld, Grahamstown Road, Adamas and Roco Projects will be affected.

The electricity supply is also scheduled to be interrupted on Sunday, 16 March and Sunday, 30 March to the same areas for the same reasons.

As there is no guarantee that supply will be off throughout the whole period stated, installations in all premises must still be regarding as being live during these hours.
