How to comment on MyPE

Even the Longhair complains that she doesn’t have time to work out how to comment on MyPE using the Disqus comment form to be found at the bottom of each article.

What follows is a graphical representation of the steps needed in order to comment on articles. The great thing about Disqus is that it groups all of your comments on all Disqus enabled sites together in your account so you have a history of all the conversations going on around you.

You will need one of these:

• A Disqus account or a
• Facebook account or a
• Twitter Account or a
• Google Account or the
• Ability to type your name, email, password and click on an arrow.

If you want to comment you need to scroll to the bottom of an article and you will see the comments section as depicted below:

Place your mouse cursor in the box that says; “Leave a message…” and click.

Once you have clicked the comments section will look like the image below:

If you have one of the following accounts: (from left to right in the image) Disqus, Facebook, Twitter or Google then click on the corresponding logo and sign in via that pop up box.

If you don’t have any social media accounts you can register with Disqus quickly see below:

Registering with Disqus requires you to place your mouse cursor in the ‘Name’ box and clicking – see below:

Fill in your Name, Email and Password and click the big arrow to submit:

You will receive an email asking you to confirm and activate your account.

From this moment on you can now use your Disqus account to comment on MyPE and all other Disqus enabled web sites by signing in to Disqus (the big blue D).

Advanced:

If you create a Gravatar account – www.gravatar.com you can associate an avatar with your email address/es. your avatar/s will then appear next to your Disqus comments and on gravatar enabled WordPress sites.
