How a Productive Genius uses the MyPE Directory

The one GOOD THING about getting out from behind my desk and making like a Mole hitting sunlight is that I get to interact with many clever people. Of course I am a little narrow minded as, for me, clever people are only those that read and use MyPE.

At a recent financial wellness breakfast (what a clever and devious choice of words that was on the part of the organisers!) a MyPE reader reminded me of why the Business Directory makes such sense for him.

Every time that our clever friend, Ian from Core, has an appointment he will consult the MyPE Business Directory for a list of businesses in the same street as his appointment and cold call to see if he can bring a little joy to those businesses in the same neck of the woods as his appointment.

Clever Ian then becomes clever AND productive AND an energy saving warrior.

Let me walk you through the search process:

  1. Select MyPE Advanced Search
  2. Type in the Road you are looking for, e.g Cape Road
  3. Untick all the available fields EXCEPT for ‘Physical Address‘
  4. Select ‘Search with the exact phrase‘
  5. Press Search.

You will see that there are presently 565 businesses listed in Cape Road alone.

Try various searches of just the title or description for more combinations of how to find that exact business or product you are looking for.
