We at MyPE like to think that our ethos based on your speech at the Rivonia Trial is the one that will see our country to greatness.
“During my lifetime I have dedicated myself to this struggle of the African people. I have fought against white domination, and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.”
Nelson Mandela’s speech from the dock, Pretoria, 20 April 1964.
Thank you for your sacrifice for South Africa.

Happy Birthday Tata.
UThixo akusikelele. Uliqhawe ngempela!
As a member of the local African Chamber of Commerce (I used to joke that I was the token white!), I will never forget the great privilege of shaking Madiba’s hand, at the SABCO Offices in Port Elizabeth, and hear him saying; “Hello, how are you” in such a manner that I still believe that it was the first time he ever said it.
Happy Birthday Madiba.
