Last Saturday I was lucky enough by chance able to watch on SABC 2 General Holomisa’s speech which he gave in Umtata during the release of the UDM’s Election Manifesto.
His speech, which went on for about forty-five minutes in both English & Xhosa, was delivered without any notes.
In my opinion he outclassed most if not all of the other political party leaders in presentation & content. He was able to pinpoint & summarise in a way everyone could understand why service delivery was lacking in most municipalities & not only those run by the ANC.
What he said made a lot of sense & was clearly aimed at all residents whatever their status.
I think he epitomizes the viewpoint of the masses when it comes to what freedom & democracy means; what the struggle was really about; the original ideals of the Freedom Charter, Constitution & Bill of Rights.
I urge all the voters who want a better life for themselves & who want to contribute to the upliftment of the neglected voters & for proper service delivery for themselves to vote for his party in May.
You won’t be disappointed as I’m convinced his party can make a difference.
Regards,
Bill Bayley.

Holomisa has not been in the limelight as much as he should have been. Every time he comments on topical matters he has made sensible remarks & as Bill points out in way most can understand what he means. Pity is election campaigning has not been stronger in P.E.
