In a voice note doing the rounds of NMMU student phones an unidentified female voice lays down the ‘rules of engagement’ that will supposedly happen to-morrow at NMMU.
Starting she says; “To-morrow is come at your own risk day” explaining:
- You will be forcefully, violently removed from classes
- Any car coming in or out is going to be stoned
- There are going to be ‘special forces’ unleashed on campus to deal with buses
- The buses from other races are going to be stopped
The ‘student’ goes on to say; “Understand me, do not come to campus at all if you still value your life.”
“There is going to be blood, gore and tears if you dare set your foot on campus,” she continued.
Editor: As a parent I am incensed and am seriously considering ‘mobilising’ a few of my mates to sort these miscreants out once and for all. As my RSM used to say to me; “Engelsman ek gaan mooi vir jou in Engels verduidelik – FIFO: Fit in of Fok Off”

This is so alarming especially for parents so far away from PE.
Agreed Cyndi – there is a school of thought that says that the Voice Note landing on NMMU Student’s phones is from Wits. But early reports from the varsity this morning say that buses are being turned away and there is a huge noise from the premises. So, it would appear that even if the Voice Note was originally intended for Wits that it has been ‘recycled’ for NMMU.
