Ja, Discovery, I am talking about YOU.
In the past MyPE has given a little bit of exposure to Discovery as a result of their sometimes innovative programmes that they develop for their members.
For example, Discovery:
- Have an arrangement with Pick ‘n Pay whereby certain ‘health foods’ are supplied to card carrying Discovery members at extremely good rates.
- Another with Virgin Active discounting membership rates and another, get this
- Discounting Movie Tickets to card carrying Discovery Members.
Try and get a discount with your ANC Membership card and see how far that will get you. So how about it, Discovery, all you need to say now is that your card guarantees entrance into heaven and I am sure that you will corner the medical aid market faster than Zuma can get a 7th wife.
As every citizen and his dog will tell you, Port Elizabeth has always touted itself as the Watersport capital of the world. We have many people actively promoting watersport and a healthy lifestyle here in our neck of the woods.
AND, I know that you and your partners have recognised the sporadic mentions that we have made of Discovery from time to time.
SO, with that in mind I propose that you consider sponsoring one or two of our HEALTHY LIFESTYLE watersport events that take place in and around Algoa Bay. I can think of a couple that will guarantee you great exposure to the right people. (MyPE has even ‘borrowed’ your logo in anticipation of doing lots of reports!)

One LAST thing – if you could turn your affiliate programme into a CPC or CPM one then I would be more than willing to give you lots of exposure.

I think that you will have to be a tad nicer in order to get them to sponsor 🙂 – Firstly their initiatives aren’t “sometimes innovative programs”, they ARE life changing.
If you do all of the tests that they suggest, follow their Healthy Food diet and do some lifestyle changes, you are guaranteed to have fewer visits to the Doctors Surgery.
I believe that Discovery are way ahead of their time when it comes to health, vitality, fitness and great nutrition, so well done Discovery, after almost 14 years of being a member I am still blown away by what you give back to your members.
