The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality’s Humewood, Kings Beach and Pollok Beach were closed until further notice for recreational activities shortly after 13:00 yesterday after a shark (estimated to be one meter) was seen in the vicinity of the Pier.
The closure is necessary to ensure the safety of beach-goers.
