At a recent Human Settlements meeting, an excellent presentation was made on the Walmer Link Gap Housing project. 779 units are being developed with the sizes ranging from 45 sq m (2-bedroom units) to 62 sq m (3-bedroom units). Of these, 347 will be for rent and 432 for sale. The income limits for tenants are between R1 500 and R7 500, and for home ownership between R3 500 and R12 000 per month.
