The municipal contingency plan to collect waste during the municipal strike is now in operation.
Waste will be collected in the following areas today:
Sherwood, Ben Kamma, Kragga Kamma, Weighbridge Park, Lorraine, Woodlands, Kamma Park, Kamma Heights, Framesby, Sunridge Park, Framesby, Framesby Gardens, Framesby Extension, Vergelegen, Fernglen, Cotsworld Extension, Beverley Gardens and Beverley Groove.
A slight chance exists that the municipality might not pick up waste in all mentioned areas due to volatility of the ongoing industrial action.
In such cases, please take your waste to landfill sites or drop-off sites or keep your waste until our normal services resume.
