The Acer C20 Pico LED Projector is a small form factor projector which punches well above its weight in terms of specification and performance. When it comes to presentations, looking good is imperative and a small gadget such as the Acer C20 Pico LED projector is a tool which can be used to capture your audience.
If one has never seen a small projector like that of the C20, the “wow” factor created when the unit is switched on and a presentation or video is shown is rather priceless. The look and feel of the projector is very professional. The body of the unit, which is predominantly silver with matte black, oozes business sophistication and will easily impress a group or audience.

The Acer C20 Pico LED projector is marginally larger than an iPhone 4 or similar sized smartphone. This small projector is best suited in the business environment where presentations need to look good without any effort. The projector has various means of data input such as mini HDMI, MicroUSB and a universal connector for inputs such as VGA and RCA (RCA cables can be purchased separately as an accessory). Not only can the projector make use of a wide array of inputs, it can also play videos files straight off a MicroSD card which can be inserted into the unit. A cable which allows for a connection to a USB flashdrive also comes as a standard accessory. This benefit therefore eliminates the need for a laptop or PC altogether and since the unit can be charged, no power cables are needed for presentations lasting less than an hour (on full power output).
The projectors’ versatility is further realized through the small built-in speaker which is able to play audio loud enough to be audible in a medium sized room. If the built-in speaker is not sufficient, the unit has a 3.5mm audio output jack. Don’t expect cinematic perfection when playing high quality videos on the unit, I occasionally found the video became “chunky”. This happens when the unit cannot play every frame in the video successfully.
Fortunately the inherent nature of this projector is not for home cinematic use, but rather the sleek and effortless delivery of business presentations. Don’t expect to attain high visual quality in a room which is well lit either, this small projector pushes out a respectable 20 Lumens, but is no real competition for its larger sized competitors. The power usage of the projector comes in two modes where battery life, if used continuously, can last anything from one hour to two and a half hours.
The ease of use astonished me and the picture quality which this miniscule projector is able to produce is surprising. This type of projector is most definitely not for that three day conference you may be planning, but is certainly the projector you could use when clinching the next big deal in a meeting which may span an hour.
If I could sum this gadget up in one word it would be “mobility”. The small size and relative performance sells itself. Would I buy it? In a nutshell I would if I needed a small and mobile projector. I would recommend this product to those businessmen and woman who regularly do presentations at clients and don’t have much travelling space.
