With All Due Respect Mr Zuma

Dear Mr Zuma

Sir, when people say to anyone; “With all due respect” you know that they are not really according you any respect.

So….. WITH ALL DUE RESPECT – I am an ordinary guy, not too bright, but with a great love for our country and people in it. At all times I try and put our country first. I do not profess to know how to run a country. As a collective we entrust our politicians to guide our country’s voters to becoming the best that we can be.

Who am I to judge anyone, especially you Mr Zuma, when it comes to deciding just who gets those plumb ministerial jobs? I hope you explained nicely to Nhlanhla Nene why you were getting rid of him. Now will you accord us the same respect please?

As an aside – have you ever noticed how people will revert to calling you ‘Mister’ whenever you are in trouble? I know this because I got into a lot of trouble at school.

Moving on – You may be saying to your wives whilst all snuggled up this morning that South Africans ‘don’t understand’, ‘cannot see the bigger picture’, ‘that the Rand will recover’. Maybe you are feeling a little bit hurt that people are demanding your head. Maybe last night’s steak is sitting a bit uncomfortably in your belly this morning as you walk around Nkandla seeking a quiet spot for a burp and a fart whilst listening to the quiet lowing of your prize cattle. May I suggest that you take that cup of tea and sit quietly in a corner of your kraal and reflect a bit on how you are about to hurt the ordinary man – those Gogo’s of Nkandla Village will suffer just a bit more in the future as the price of petrol and food increases in response to the Rand being battered.

I say it again – I am a simple dumb guy but when I see and hear brilliant financial minds predicting a dire future, local business chambers issuing warnings, your own ministers shell shocked at your actions and former ministers urging the ANC to bring you to account I think that I am permitted to worry a little.

Voters are like children – they need structure, rules, hope and trust in the people they pay to do the job of carrying out their wishes.

WITH ALL DUE RESPECT MISTER Zuma the voters on our wonderful country no longer have structure, watch rules being broken, have lost trust and have learned to suppress their wishes.
