Who would have thought that covering the CSI initiative by the Boardwalk at Dora Nginza and Livingstone Hospitals would have turned into an opportunity to bring joy into a little patients day? This little patient had a whale of a time as he couldn’t decide what delight to experience first – bottled water, custard in a container, pudding, lunch, whistle blowing, high fiving Mickey and Minnie Mouse, playing with his balloon or #Christmas present. It was such a delight to watch this young man gobble the pudding I fed him, open his present and blow his whistle all the while drinking in the joy on the faces of his fellow patients at Livingstone Hospital. A special opportunity with thanks to The Boardwalk. #alanstraton #portelizabeth #giving #mype Photo: Nicola Straton – Taken by the Editor whilst wandering aimlessly about pretending to be in the know.
