24 June 2023 By Alan Straton

FUTURELIFE®, in partnership with soccer star Siphiwe Tshabalala, is excited to reveal the highly-anticipated matchups and schedule for the first weekend of the Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation’s Soccer Tournament. This exciting event, made possible by the collaboration between FUTURELIFE®, and the Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation, aims to provide a platform for underprivileged youth to showcase their soccer skills and celebrate their potential. The tournament will take place from 24th June to 16th July 2023 at the Kgotso Sports grounds in Phiri, Soweto.

Highlighting the talents of over 70 teams from across South Africa, consisting of both male and female players between the ages of 15 and 20, the tournament promises to be a wonderful display of talent and determination. Those participating will not only be competing for the title in their age groups but will also be looking to secure one of the six guaranteed spots at the prestigious SuperSport United Academy.

Siphiwe Tshabalala, the renowned South African soccer star and founder of the Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation says that these fixtures will set the stage for an exhilarating tournament, with each team bringing their fancy footwork and determination to claim the championship title.

He adds that the partnership between FUTURELIFE® and the Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation underlines their shared dedication to supporting and celebrating South Africa’s youth, merging the realms of nutrition and sports in a long-term initiative. “This tournament is a testament to our shared commitment to empowering the youth and nurturing their talents. I am honoured to have FUTURELIFE® as our partner in this journey, and together, I know that we will make a lasting impact on the lives of these future stars.”

As the official nutrition partner of the tournament, FUTURELIFE® will ensure that every participating team receives balanced nutrition with nutrients and functional ingredients to support their immune system and help them to perform at their best. In addition, players will be given access to a FUTURELIFE® nutrition expert during the tournament further emphasising their commitment to the overall wellbeing and development of the participants.

The Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation’s Soccer Tournament is set to captivate fans and celebrate the next generation of soccer stars. Join us in supporting these young athletes as they embark on this exciting journey of competition, growth, and achievement.
