Water Shutdowns for Wards 1, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 29, 31, 32, 40, 42, 43, 44, 50 and 52

To reduce water losses and extend the lifespan of the City’s water infrastructure, planned maintenance will be conducted in the following areas on the specified dates:

  • June 21, 2022: Missionvale – Ward 31
  • June 22, 2022: Gelvandale Shack Town – Ward 32; Kwaford – Ward 14
  • June 23, 2022: Bridgemeade – Ward 12; North Street – Ward 50
  • June 24, 2022: Kini Bay – Ward 40; Fernglen – Wards 6, 9 and 10
  • June 25, 2022: Parsons Vlei 1 & 2 – Ward 12; Despatch Zone 8 – Ward 52
  • June 27, 2022: Sardinia Bay – Ward 1
  • June 28, 2022: Kamma Park – Ward 8; Overbaakens, Circular Drive – Ward 6; Bendore Drive – Wards 8 and 9.
  • July 6, 2022: Chatty / Bloemendal Connection – Wards 29, 40, 42, 43 and 44.

Please be advised that low water pressure or water interruptions may occur in the aforementioned areas during the scheduled maintenance periods.

We urge residents to conserve water and refrain from stockpiling.
