A Short film about freediving and total immersion swimming. Shot by locals off the coast of Port Elizabeth, South Africa and featuring;
- Sian O’Keefe (38) who swims up to 4 kilometers per session in open water and says; “I love gliding through water, water is your friend …” See seals, dolphins, a bait ball and a rare sunfish sighting during Sian’s swim.
- Darryl Hiscock (38) who is a free diver diving to 30 metres below the surface and says; “I am entering another world and for those moments that I am there I am transported to a different reality of peace, beauty and tranquility.” Curious dolphins accompany Daryll as he descends into the darkening depths. Back on the surface, noise and light create an unwelcome contrast to another short dive to see a whale.
“Why don’t you go and live in the water? You belong there”

Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die."
