After a disappointing finish to the their Momentum One-Day Cup campaign the Chevrolet Warriors have turned their attention to the longer format of the game.
The Sunfoil Series gets underway this week and the team travel to East London for their opening match of the the series against the Chevrolet Knights.
“After much improvement shown last season the Warriors are confident that they will have a positive campaign this coming season. The squad is more settled with the return of Rusty Theron who missed out on the four-day campaign last year and with Ryan Bailey now strengthening our middle order the squad is well balanced.” said coach PJ Botha.
The team is as follows:
- Michael Price
- Ashwell Prince
- Ryan Bailey
- Colin Ingram
- Aya Gqamane
- Simon Harmer
- Davy Jacobs (Captain)
- Andrew Birch
- Rusty Theron
- David White
- Basheer Walters
- Vuyisa Makhaphela
