Warriors T20 Final Squad

By

The Warriors will take on the Multiply Titans in the final of the T20 Challenge on Friday at Centurion and are geared up for a fight to bring the trophy home.

The T20 Challenge campaign has been one of the best in many seasons for the squad and although a rained delayed match in East London which reduced the game to five overs scuppered the team’s chance of ending top of the log and hosting a home final they are ready to go head to head with the Titans in Centurion.

Coach Malibongwe Maketa has been very happy with the performance of the team in the round robin stages with all members making a contribution to the team’s success. “We obviously have some stand out performers but without full commitment from the whole squad we would not have had the success we did.

We played really good cricket from the start of the campaign and we are hoping to end the T20 Challenge with some silverware.”

Below is the squad for the final:

Jon-Jon Smuts (Captain)
Basheer Walters
Colin Ackermann
Kyle Abbott
Andrew Birch
Lesiba Ngoepe
Clyde Fortuin
Christiaan Jonker
