Last night the Warriors team got together with the Warrior Kidz at Axxess St Georges. The Kidz were given some coaching lessons, and the Warriors players entertained the kidz on the field, playing some cricket and signing lots of autographs and the Kidz posing with their favourite players, while the dads indulged in some of Charles’ finest and prodding at some wors burning on a bed of hot coals.
The Warriors players were introduced by Juan “Rusty” Theron with his youthful flambouyant manner. The atmosphere was that of a happy well “gelled” side ready to take on the Lions in tonights 20/20 clash. A win here will secure tham a semi-final birth and a home semi-final.
The expected sqaud to take on the Lions will come from JJ Smuts, Davy Jacobs, Arno Jacobs, Justin Kreusch, Ashwell Prince, Mark Boucher Nicky Boje, Craig Thyssen, Kelly Smuts, Rusty Theron, Makhaya Ntini, and Andrew Birch, Lyall Meyer and Basheer Walters.
