1. Refuse Collection Service:

We received the following from the metro.

(Please take note that tomorrow, Thursday 1 May 2014 (Public Holiday) and 7 May 2015 (Voting Day) are normal days of Refuse Collection Service.   All Refuse Collection Rounds that are scheduled to take place on Thursdays will be serviced tomorrow as per normal schedule.  We are rendering a Refuse Collection Service in all Public Holidays except for a Christmas Day.)

2. National Elections 2014

The National Elections are taking place on Wednesday 7 May 2014 and voting stations will be open from 07:00 to 21:00.

Our 4 voting stations in Ward 9 are:

  • Verkenner Primary School (Linton Grange)
  • Sunridge Primary School (Sunridge Park)
  • Londt Park Sport Field (Fernglen)
  • Westering Primary School (Westering)

Those of you, who can assist us for a couple of hours on Election Day, please let me know as soon as possible.

We need as many as possible to help on this very important day!
