Today’s Traffic Hero – Woolworths Greenacres

20 January 2013 By Alan Straton

This Traffic Hero, was spotted in the Woolworths Greenacres parking area on 20/01/2013 at around 01:10 pm.

Shopping centres in Port Elizabeth should take a leaf out of Woolworths Greenacres book.

As you will see in the image below they have a traffic cone ‘guarding’ each disabled parking which helps keep those miscreants who feel ‘entitled’ away.

Well done Woolworths!

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.

Dear people with no brains – a point of clarity here if I may. The car guards are the ones that move the traffic cones to allow the disabled to use the parking spots.

Stop being silly and asking if the disabled are expected to move the cones themselves!
