Attached is a picture of the Richmond Hill bakkie in her new livery, ready to hit the road. This is the vehicle that is at the centre of the dispute outlined in our “Open Letter to John Preller, Chairman, Humewood CPF.”
Why she is at the centre of such a controversy I do not know. Most law enforcement authorities would have welcomed this initiative.
No one in the community is complaining about her being bought – what they are unhappy about is the fact that she is not on the road. Well that is about to change.
Rather than wasting time with frivolous fraud charges Mr John Preller, Chaiman of the Humewood CPF and the SAPS must sit up and take note of what the community wants, which is to chase after the real criminals.
Our community wanted a bakkie and we now have a bakkie so what is the problem?
Sincerely
Richmond Hill Community as represented by the members of the Richmond Hill Sector Crime Forum and the Richmond Hill Residents Association.

Hopefully, it’ll remove THAT trash if it appears in RH ever again.
Well done Hill Billies! The silence of the usual vocal Mr
Preller on Richmond Hill issues is worrying. Perhaps he is too busy preventing
crime on the Hill. However, this is highly unlikely remembering his devious
ways of destabilising crime prevention in the area. His next move should be
watched with concern.
