Isuzu Trucks South Africa (ITSA) this week celebrated a major milestone when the 30 000th Isuzu truck rolled off the production line at General Motors South Africa's (GMSA) Kempston Road plant. On 11 June 2014 six large trucks (over 5 ton) once again caused utter chaos at Engen Bluewater Bay. There was a huge truck parked illegally in Weinronk Road with a double axle trailer. Not only was he parked illegally, he was also in a 5 ton restricted area. A colleague of his was in the Engen Bluewater Bay courtyard with the same size truck busy filling up. Head On Truck Collision
At approximately 5:50 pm on Wednesday 8 February two trucks were involved in a nasty head on collison on the N2 near Hougham Park. One truck carrying bricks into Port Elizabeth and the other, a Transport 2000 truck, carrying wool out of Port Elizabeth met head on whilst negotiating the temporary road markings and signage.
