The 2012 Ironman swim has been named as one of the toughest to date. The first swimmer home was Clemente Alonso-Mckernan from Spain in a time of 54 minutes and 53 seconds, second was Kent Horner from South Africa in 57 minute and 55 seconds, closely followed by Mike Aigroz from Switzerland four seconds later.
