Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University's Vice-Chancellor's Scholarships will make the dreams of 30 top-achieving first-year students - including the Eastern Cape's 2013 top matric Matthew Walker - come true. Post-graduate students score scholarships worth R400 000
On Tuesday 18 June Tata Africa handed over 13 scholarships worth R400 000 to post-graduate students at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. It is the first time NMMU has received the prestigious post-graduate scholarships from the Indian conglomerate, which has since 2006 awarded 194 Tata Africa scholarships worth nearly R10-million.
