The Border Rugby Union (BRU) has been suspended from membership of SA Rugby as a consequence of its dire financial position and on-going administration issues. SA Rugby confirmed on Thursday that the operations and participation of the Southern Kings in Vodacom Super Rugby would be unaffected by an application to liquidate EP Rugby (Pty) Ltd. Condolences on the passing of Saki Manakaza
SA Rugby President Mr Oregan Hoskins on Monday paid tribute to Saki Manakaza, Deputy President of the Border Rugby Union, who passed away over the weekend at the age of 50. The South African Rugby Union (SARU) on Wednesday disclosed the first details of a new-look Southern Kings franchise to participate in next season's expanded Vodacom Super Rugby competition.
