Color Run brightens grey Sunday

The original paint race, The Color Run, gave thousands of locals and visitors the time of their lives today as the event transformed Port Elizabeth into a myriad of colour and happiness. Smiles, fun, laughter, story telling mixed with uncontained excitement filled the atmosphere at the 2014 Blind Fun Run on Saturday the 16th of August. March and April are big event months for cyclists and runners with the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Momentum Cycle Tour and the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon respectively. This Saturday sees the annual News Cafe Run-in-Heels event hosted by the Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment Centre as ladies in stilettos and men in drag take part in a 100m dash on Saturday morning. Running from Port Elizabeth to Durban Against Climate Change

A group of 15 athletes from 4 different Eastern Cape townships, the Seeland Development Trust and Masibambane in Saldanha Bay are on a "Run and Cycle Against Climate Change". This run and cycle will take them on a 900 km odd journey from Coega, Port Elizabeth to Durban during the COP 17 conference.
