Message for @NMandelaBaymuni – Take the Log out your own eye

Fresh Water - Booysens Park Reservoir

Dear MyPE The above image shows fresh water (we could smell the chlorine) running out of a reservoir into the Chatty River. the reservoir is off of Rietkuil Road which can be reached from Stanford Road just after the Booysens Park Road Turnoff. As a regular traveler through the area I can confirm that this new travesty has been going on for at least a few days now. A man-made river now flows down the embankment, creating a swamp and causing massive erosion. This has begun to undermine national and municipal roads, causing potential risk of collapse. Date: November 25, 2015 15:51 Click here for more: MyPE … [Read more...] about Berg Street Reservoir

And the Summerstrand Water Crisis Updates Roll in faster than water to your taps

7 August 2012 By Ward1

Stanford Slabbert writes: The position as at 12 noon earlier today. There will be one WATER-TANK TRUCK in front of the TOTAL GARAGE, Admirality Way. And one WATER-TANK TRUCK in the parking area of SUMMERBREEZZ SPAR OR in front of the SASOL GARAGE, Strandfontein Rd. The problem has been fixed by the NMBM but the pressure of the water to fill the reservoir is still low and therefore water will come later today. Please be aware that the water should be boiled for a couple of minutes … [Read more...] about And the Summerstrand Water Crisis Updates Roll in faster than water to your taps
