As Port Elizabeth celebrates a century as a city, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University is calling on all students, staff and alumni to capture the city's landmarks in photographs - but with the university's values in mind. The best of these city photographs will then be shared at an exhibition by the university in November. Port Elizabeth-based professional photographer Karl Schoemaker will exhibit images collected on assignments in Africa and South America, at the Athenaeum from 23 August to 5 September 2013. Schoemaker is a professional photographer with Work at Play Photography & Design. Richmond Hill Street Music Festival Photography Exhibition

NMMU second and third year photography students from the Department of Applied Design were assigned to photograph the bands performing at the third annual Richmond Hill Music festival on the weekend of the 23rd of June.
