It is alleged that on Tuesday, 9 February 2016 at about 09:30, occupants travelling in a Nissan open bakkie were shot at on the M4 Port Elizabeth bound. The two occupants aged 19 and 25 years old seated at the back of the bakkie were injured. The female was shot in her left leg and the male in his left arm and left foot. A truck delivering cigarettes was hijacked in North End, Port Elizabeth this morning. The driver of the truck was delivering stock to a shop in Prince Alfred Road, North End, when he was approached by 3 African men. 1 of the suspects pointed a fire-arm at the driver and threw the driver into the back of the truck, before driving off with it. Taxi driver goes on rampage in North End
Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality's Traffic Officers saved the day after a taxi driver hit a pedestrian at 15:55 and ploughed into a bakkie that ended up in an Electric Express shop.
