The R75000 per day hole

This is an important development, confirmed verbally today by … [Read more...] about Nooitgedagt Work to Recommence

29 January 2018 By Alan Straton

The R75000 per day hole

Dear Minister Mokonyane, ever wondered what a hole that you pour R75 000.00 per day into in penalties looks like? Then this is it. An urgent meeting is being held tomorrow to try and re-instate this years budget for the water purification project and avoid R75 000.00 in penalties that will be raised by the construction company for non-payment. Electricity outage at the Nooitgedacht Water Treatment Works

10 December 2016 By NMB Communications

Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality

Due to an electricity outage last night at the Nooitgedacht Water Treatment Works, we lost significant time to treat and distribute water resulting in the low water level of the Motherwell reservoir. Although the outage has been restored this morning, we anticipate low water pressure in Motherwell NU9 and the surrounding higher-lying areas. We would like to reiterate our call for residents to use water sparingly as our system remains under pressure. Bushfires also contribute by adding a … [Read more...] about Electricity outage at the Nooitgedacht Water Treatment Works
