2 Dead in Massive Head-on Collision
A massive accident occurred at around 13h00 on the N2 under the bridge linking Newton Park and Cotswold today leading to the closure of the N2 around that intersection. The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) would like to inform road users of the temporary closure of the N2 between the Settlers Way interchange and the John Tallant interchange on Sunday, 18 August 2013. Motorists are advised that dangerous road conditions exist on the N2 near the Stanford Road turn-off. The tar on the road has lifted, creating very dangerous road conditions.
