Marinus

Born in Despatch Marinus van Rooyen studied Mechanical Engineering. Whilst singing at a friends wedding, at The Boardwalk, Marinus was 'discovered' by the then Operational Manager, Brian Wilkinson. This led to a weekly gig on the Boardwalks' calendar. His first self penned song, Se Vir My, found airplay on Jaques Arendt's Burger Opskop slot on Bay FM.
