Top marathon runner and 2016 Rio Olympics medal hopeful, Lusapho April has joined Volkswagen as the brand ambassador for Polo Vivo. Lusapho, who was born and bred in Uitenhage, is one of South Africa's top marathon runners that will be participating at the Rio Olympics in August. Olympic marathon runner Lusapho April helped defending champions Gamble Pharmacy smash their 21km course record by more than two-and-a-half minutes in the first race of the Investec Night Relay series in Port Elizabeth on Thursday evening.
