Dear MyPE I have complained many times to the NMMM about the wastage below. Yesterday I got an email quoting a reference number for the water leak. But still nothing about the lights My original complaint: "I wish to complain about the Street lights in Haworthia Drive, Calendula Drive, Alysum Crescent and Dahlia Street. Why are municipal rates so high in Port Elizabeth?

Why is it so expensive to live in Port Elizabeth? Property Rates: PE - 0.0074441; Cape Town - 0.006062; Jeffreys Bay - 0.00424; Jhb - 0.005573 On a R1 million house I will pay R1,358 less in Cape Town, R3,153 less in Jeffreys Bay and R2,592 less in Johannesburg per year. If you use 600kW electricity per month, you will pay R1,228 less per year in Cape Town and R1,611 less in Jeffreys Bay. I have not even started with the water rates.
