Stolen truck and goods worth over R1m recovered in a flash

Quick response by Sergeant De Brugge, Constable Fischer and Port Elizabeth K9 Sergeant Oosthuizen and Constable Naicker led to the arrest of two suspects and the recovery of a stolen Isuzu truck with goods to the value of almost R1 million. The members interviewed the complainant and he informed them that he was going to leave with the truck in the morning. Port Elizabeth Flying squad arrests Gelvandale suspects

Alertness and swift action by members of the PE Flying squad resulted in the speedy arrest of two suspects. It is alleged that on Sunday, 15 May 2016 at about 07:10 members received information of an attempted hijacking in the Gelvandale area. The description of the suspect vehicle was circulated and within minutes the vehicle was spotted speeding by the Flying squad members in Standford Road. Hijacked Kwanobuhle vehicle recovered after one day

Cradock SAPS members arrested a 34-year-old suspect about 30 km from Cradock on N10 towards Cookhouse, for possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of drugs. The team received information from Tracker that two Volkswagen Polos, one that was reported stolen last year in Dobsonville, Gauteng and the other which was hijacked yesterday in Kwanobuhle, Uitenhage were on route to Cradock on the N10.
