New route a winner for popular MTB race

A new route which takes mountain bike riders through the scenic Kap River Nature Reserve has doubled the field for the annual Fish River Sun Mountain Bike (MTB) Challenge. In 2015 there were 45 participants when the two-day event was held for the first time. This year entries have closed on 115, consisting of 32 female and 83 male riders. Families limbering up for second annual Fish River Sun trail run

The whole family will be able to enjoy the sights and smells of the indigenous forests and pristine Eastern Cape coastline on the annual Fish River Sun Trail Run, which is one of the only trail runs in the country to cater for children under six. The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) hereby gives notice that Section 14 of the N2 between Grahamstown and Peddie at the Fish River Pass will be closed between 3:45pm and 4:30pm next week, on 4 August, and again at the same times on 11, 18 and 25 August.
