Property Rates: PE - 0.0074441; Cape Town - 0.006062; Jeffreys Bay - 0.00424; Jhb - 0.005573 On a R1 million house I will pay R1,358 less in Cape Town, R3,153 less in Jeffreys Bay and R2,592 less in Johannesburg per year. If you use 600kW electricity per month, you will pay R1,228 less per year in Cape Town and R1,611 less in Jeffreys Bay. I have not even started with the water rates.
