Eskom announced on Friday that load shedding would be implemented on Sunday from 08:00 until 22:00.
“While we do not anticipate that there will be a need to implement load shedding tomorrow [Saturday], there will be load shedding on Sunday from 08:00 until 22:00,” Eskom said in a statement.
One supposes that the anticipated NO LOAD SHEDDING on Mandela Day is due to Eskom going beyond 67 minutes of service to the community.
On Sunday, 19 July these groups will be affected:
- 08:00 – 09:30 – Geysers
- 09:00 – 11:30 – Group 1
- 11:00 – 13:30 – Group 3
- 13:00 – 15:30 – Group 5
- 15:00 – 17:30 – Group 7
- 17:00 to 19:30 – Geysers
- 19:00 to 21:30 – Group 4
- 21:00 to 22:00 – Group 6
