Springbok Player Tweets After the All Black Defeat in OUR PE

21 August 2011 By Alan Straton

Port Elizabeth has certainly cemented itself as the perfect good luck talisman for the Springbok Rugby side and delivered yet another victory for the Springboks who went into yesterdays game as decided underdogs but emerged triumphant in their 18 – 5 defeat of the men from New Zealand.

Before the game we had a little look to see what the Springboks were tweeting in order to gauge what the mood of the side was – frankly of all the players, John Smit once again demonstrated what a great leader and all round good guy he is when he tweeted messages of good luck to his opponents – see: Springbok Player Tweets on the day of the PE Test.

Of the 22 man squad we found 10 active Springbok Player Twitter Accounts and now present what was said after the historic match at Port Elizabeth’s Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium:

Okay – so the Springbok Tits are NOT a loquacious bunch so we tried Monty and Div’s Alter Ego Instead:

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
