Seeking Anxiety and Panic Disorder Support Groups

16 July 2012 By Port Elizabethan

I was wondering if any of your readers know of an anxiety and panic disorder support group in Port Elizabeth? I apologise if the nature of the query is not in line with the purpose of your website or the letters section but I have tried the usual searches online without much success.

I tried contacting SADAG who had listings for some support groups but none for Anxiety, panic or depression. Even though we are known as the “Friendly City” I’m sure there must be others out there that suffer from anxiety and panic disorder and that would benefit from a local support or therapy group?

If anyone can provide me with some information I would be extremely grateful. Alternatively the name of a psychologist who offers group therapy or who specialises in treating panic disorder would also be helpful.

Regards

Gillyraffe
