Ram Slam T20 returns to Port Elizabeth

By

The Ram Slam T20 series is back in Port Elizabeth tomorrow 6 March when the Chevrolet Warriors take on the Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras in a match starting at 6:00 pm at Axxess St George’s.

This match and the following one in Benoni on Friday night are crucial to the Warriors campaign and they will be wanting to make sure that they put points on the board to secure a spot at the top of the log.  There are two injuries in the team – Rusty Theron has a broken finger and split webbing and captain Davy Jacobs has not yet been cleared to play following a shoulder injury sustained in the match against the Titans.

The squad for the match on Friday is as follows: A. Prince, C. Ingram (Capt), S. Patel, K. Smuts, A. Gqamane, C. Jonker, A. McLaren, A. Birch, S. Harmer, A. Dyili, W. Parnell and C. Thyssen.

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
