7 March 2011 By Alan Straton

A quick roundup of mentions of Port Elizabeth in blogs around the world for Monday 21 February 2011.

MyPE provides this roundup in order to promote Port Elizabeth and to encourage fellow bloggers to expand their coverage of Port Elizabeth and surrounds.

One would think that the blogosphere would be peppered with mentions after:

  • the Warriors qualifying for their second Champions’ League in a row when they beat the Nashua Dolphins by 4 wickets in their Standard Bank Pro20 semi-final second leg at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead, Durban on Friday evening, 4 March and
  • the Kings beating the Leopards 31 -25 after a nailbiting 19 -19 score at halftime in Potchefstroom on Friday

….but not.

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination.
