In reaction to readers saying that the crime always increases in Summerstrand during the last three months of each year MyPE asked you to vote in our poll.
Some of the ‘Other’ reasons given are:
- crime increases all over during the specific time as stated. not exclisive to summerstrand
- anarchy
- Criminals taking chances because less are home during summer
- ext31 shooting yesterday
- Profit taking by the NMBMM
- criminals finding it lucrative and relatively easy to break into homes in this suburb, plus they find easy prey in the elderly
- power failure in park side area
- Floods
