There is only one match on the programme this weekend for the Mayoral Cup First Division rugby competition, with Suburban taking on Progress at Kleinskool today at 15.30.
The match provides a chance for Progress to consolidate their position at the top of the log after scoring wins earlier in the competition over Spring Rose and Harlequins. A third victory over Suburban should seal the deal for the Uitenhage side.
Suburban, meanwhile, will be aiming to overcome a frustrating pattern of drawn matches. They ended level-pegging with Spring Rose in their opening game (17-17) and then saw a similar result last weekend when they drew with Harlequins 6-6.
In Pool B, Gardens maintained their position at the top last week when they defeated Star of Hope 23-10.
