The local 2011/12 season kicks off with the SA vs Australia series which sees the teams meeting in Port Elizabeth on Sunday 23 October. This is the same day as the Rugby World Cup Final and in anticipation of the public wanting to watch this final the ODI will only start at 13:00.

EP Cricket urge cricket fans to support the Everyday Warrior campaign and donate a food item when they come to the game. The food will be donated to local charities.

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
