Following on from the tragic drowning incident that befell members of the Motherwell Rugby Club on Sunday 25 March a disaster fund has been set up to assist family members in their bereavement.

Don’t want to appear negative about this tragedy, but was at the Nipper Nationals this weekend and did not see a team from Bluewater Bay, should we not be spending time and money training kids to become sea savvy @ Bluewater Bay and in fact all Surf Lifesaving Clubs in SA. To me it is money well spent teaching kids about the sea and how it works, than to pay for after tragedy expenses.
