Missing the Old Website

24 March 2011 By Port Elizabethan

Hi there, am a ex-Capetonian now living in Port Elizabeth, I love your website but do miss the older one which was more interactive and had forums and places where people could exchange views and all sorts of stuff.

Is there any chance that one can try to incorporate those forums on this, the new website, please.

Thank you and thank you for providing the website that you do at present.

Clint.

    Thanks for the input Clint.

Frankly – the forums became a bit of a pain for me as I had to spend most of my day playing cyber policeman and delete spam posts. Also the rise and rise of Group Sex for Amoebas and Twitter saw many of the MyPE regulars rushing off to “greener pastures”.

BUT, Some form of functionality and interaction still exists on the new MyPE in the form of the ability for people to comment on articles and submit articles or letters to MyPE (as you have done most ably) which may be discussed in an open forum.

    I hope that helps?

I miss the forums as well, but I also understand Alan’s problem.
