A memorial service for well-known Eastern Cape public relations personality Maureen Dalzell will be held at The Boardwalk International Convention Centre from three pm on Thursday, February 25.
She passed away on Thursday, February 18 following a car accident on the evening of Sunday, February 7.
Maureen, who turned 71 on Friday, January 22, was public relations officer at The Boardwalk, Fish River Sun and Amathole Sun in the Eastern Cape.
For the past ten years she worked with Siyathetha Communications for a number of clients in the province.
Editor: Maureen was one of those ‘old school’ PR people – insanely organised and always in the background leaving her clients to the limelight. She will be sorely missed by MyPE.

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth.
Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die."
