Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.

The nmmu fees must fall video was intended to inform students and people concerned with what was happening at nmmu and couldn’t go to see for themselves that is why it was that long, and one can just fast forward the video in order to get to the important sections of the video thank you.

Understood – the criticism is aimed at making you stronger – my feeling at the time was that the singing was repetitive and didn’t add meat to the report. Our attention spans are shorter and most people watch to see action and drama whilst hopping to learn something new. Also bandwidth restrictions preclude most people from being able to fast forward and search.
